News Details - Road and Bridge Closings

The Tompkins County Highway Division alerts residents to the following road and bridge closings:

BOICEVILLE ROAD CLOSING:

The Highway Division will be closing Boiceville Road, in the Town of Caroline, for box-out road work, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010, through Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic.

SEARSBURG ROAD CLOSING:

The Highway Division will be closing Searsburg Road, in the Town of Ulysses, for a culvert pipe replacement, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2010, through Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The road will be closed to all through traffic.

JERSEY HILL ROAD BRIDGE CLOSING:

The Highway Division will be closing the Jersey Hill Road bridge, between West King Road and Layen Road, in the Town of Danby, for bridge replacement, beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010, through Thursday, September 30, 2010, at approximately 4:30 p.m. The bridge will be closed to all through traffic.
